"And here...we...go!"

So, after much thought and procrastination, I have decided to finally bring my movie blog back. Sort of.

For one thing, as you can see, I have moved it off of LJ. Why? For one thing, I hadn't updated the old blog in well over a year. For another, Blogspot supposedly gives you more of an audience. And the more people who read your work, the better. ;)

Anyway, before I really get going a here, a few quick things...

* For those who managed to stumble upon this blog without knowing who I am, my name is Dacey. I love movies, which is why I started a movie blog. That's probably all that needs to really be said here, right?

* For those who do know me, the blog if going to go through a few changes. Among them: I will no longer be posting any box office predictions here, as I am now able to do them through the "Non-Disney" section of this forum:

* I'm going to try very hard to keep this from getting too boring. In the past, I feel like I mainly only talked about stufff that I was interested in. Now, I'm...well, I'm still going to talk about stuf that I'm interested in. ;) But I'm going to try to broaden things up a little, too.

* I am toying with the idea of posting movie reviews here.

* I am also toying with the idea of writing a series of "columns" here. For example, one such "column" would involve me talking about an older movie that I have recently seen for the first time. It would be called "First Viewing." I would try to keep it from being as boring as it sounds.

* You don't have to read this. You don't have to subscribe to this. But if you do, I'll love you forever.
